So, many of you reading this will know I'm about to take a step in faith and follow where God is leading me, to be a missionary and move to India. What you don't know is that I'm also getting married. Yes, you read that right, getting married.
Spreading the word about everything at this date that I post this is slow. Mainly because my Dad does not know yet. As I've been praying, my telling him keeps being halted. So I'm going to start now in just blindly trusting the Lord's timing. Maybe the wait to tell my Dad will be a good thing in the long run. Some of you I only told half the story to, the missionary part. Until my Dad knows though, spreading the word will continue to be slow.
Reactions! As to be expected, I've already had both good reactions (those who are happy for me) and bad reactions (those who really think I've lost it now). Through it all so far though, the Lord has been with me and has given me strength to explain to everyone what is happening. The more I pray and read and do and listen for the Lord, the more reassurance I get in the fact that this is what I was born to do. That this is what I've prayed and waited my whole life for.
Every seemingly small detail in my life has just finished being fit together. All the things from the time I was small (always having this love for India) to the little desires of my heart (to be a wife, mother, missionary, midwife) they are fitting and being fulfilled. But its such and example of God's love! How He has been weaving along this whole life story of mine, and its so breathtaking to me. Even though I'll be the first to admit to you and tell you I know I do not deserve God's grace, He is loving enough to forgive me of all my sins and still bless me with such an amazing life. And though this love story building between Anosh and I here on earth is one for the books, the only greater love story that is also building is the one between me and God. I mean really? Who am I that I deserve even half of this? And Jesus knew of the atrocities I'd still commit. Yet He, like the most loving Father, continued to love and weave away at my life, building a love story that would not only catch up Anosh and I, but literally everyone around us.
